Weber Conservation District
Mission Statement
"The Function of the conservation district – To take available technical, financial, and educational resources, whatever their source, and focus or coordinate them so that they meet the needs of the local land user for conservation of soil, water, and related resources."
Programs & Projects

Get Started: The Weber Conservation District is a non-regulatory local agency that works with landowners to help resolve their natural resource issues on their land. Please contact us if you have questions about the soil, water, and wildlife conditions on your property.

No-Till Drills: The District also provides agricultural equipment rental services, offering two No-Till drills in 7-foot and 12-foot widths. Rental rates are available upon inquiry.

Invasive Species Program: The Weber Conservation District manages invasive species like Yellowstar Thistle, Rush Skeletonweed, and Phragmites. Yellowstar Thistle is controlled with herbicides, manual removal, and biological control research. Rush Skeletonweed is managed with selective herbicides, grazing, and competitive vegetation. Phragmites is controlled using aquatic-approved herbicides, mechanical cutting, and controlled burns.
