Nanking Cherry
(Prunus tomentos)

Nanking cherry is a very hardy but beautiful flowering shrub.  It bears stunning white flowers in the early spring and has excellent fall color.  Nanking cherry may also be used as a wind break filler and produces tart but edible fruit, which also serves as a food source for birds.
