Native American Plum
(Prunus americana)

Profuse white flowers. Very hardy. Excellent tree for wildlife food and habitat. Its growth pattern forms a thicket. The fruit is used for jams and jellies.

Hardiness: Zone 3

Site requirements: Low salt tolerance. Best in full sun with adequate water. Grows better in coarse and sandy soils.
